Notes:

Version of the 6 LP's  'Box' set without ''BOX'' printed on the title sticker.
Besides, this variant sticker is in black & white, has no rim text, the 'atoms' are in different positions and the appearance of the catalog number is also a bit different. As all other versions of this set are titled -and commonly known as- 'Box', so will this one.

At least two label variations exist: 
1) white inside an orange circle w/ black text (this version)
2) black w/ red text (here).

Records One to Five are reissues of the first five [a83529 LP's:

- [r=1486660, 1990
- [r=1427976, 1992

Record Six contains previously unreleased tracks:
- K1 & K2 from the intentionally unreleased album 'Learning To Hunt', recorded in 1988
- K3 to K7 from the intentionally unreleased album 'Back To Saturn X Radio Report' (a medley of the album's songs is featured on 1992's Propeller album. The remaining songs from these sessions appear on various 45s and the Suitcase boxed set)
- L1 to L11 recorded in 1992-93 and L12 in the mid 80s. During 1993, five or six different versions of  55972 were considered or assembled. Each version but the last contained some new material and by the time the final version was edited, around 60 songs had been submitted for inclusion on the LP at one point or another. These twelve tracks, then, represent the best of those unissued recordings.

Catalog number on front sticker 'scat 40lp', on inner sleeves 'SCAT 40' and on labels 'scat40'.
