Abrupt beginning, endings, edits and ambient sounds are intentional and transferred from the original tape sources. "Instrumentals" Vol. 2 was digitally transferred from the original 1984 vinyl, as the master tapes have been lost. The second side of that LP was inadvertently mastered at half-speed, and has now been corrected (Side Two tracks 2-3 and Side Three tracks 1-2 [tracks B2, B3 and C1, C2).
